Besides their Phenom 5-30x56mm, at SHOT Show 2017 Hi-Lux Optics also introduced their CMR4 1-4x34mm CMP Match model, and an updated reticle option for their CMR8 1-8x26mm tactical scope.
Based on the Hi-Lux CMR 1-4x24mm series, this new addition on the CMR4 line is specially made for CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) with a larger 34mm objective lens size, a special reticle, screw-on lens shade and front parallax adjustment.
The Hi-Lux CMR4 CMP Match model’s reticle. It’s designed according to the CMP match rule with this reticle is calibrated for the 55gr 5.56x45mm. Since Hi-Lux can’t actually uses the “CMP” name in it product name, this model will be officially called the CMR-XTC 1-4x34mm.
The Hi-Lux CMP Match model features tall capped adjustment turrets in 1/4 MOA adjustment, comparing those to the smaller turrets found on the regular CMR models with the 1/2 MOA adjustment. Also show in this picture is the big front parallax adjustment ring on the right.
The Hi-Lux CMR4-XTC 1-4x34mm will be price at $450 and it will be available 2nd quarter of 2017. CMP will carry it on both their physical stores and their online store soon.
The Hi-Lux CMR8 1-8x26mm tactical scope. It’s very compact at just 10.2 inch long, although the production version added extra two ounces to it’s weight to 22.5 ounces, it’s still one of the lighter 1-8x on the market. The price of the CMR8 is $800 online.
The new CW-4 FFP reticle for the Hi-Lux CMR8 at 1x. It will be the 2nd reticle option in addition to the original AVS-CMR8 reticle. The new reticle is a little less busy that the original and without the rangfinder hashmarks on the right side.

Like most Hi-Lux rifle scopes, the new CMR8 reticle will be available in either green and red color illumination.
